A Fun Christmas, After all!

I thought I should put up our Christmas pictures this year before the baby comes. I know it will never happen if I don't. We had a great Christmas. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, since we weren't able to get much for Lillian, but it turned out better than I had expected. We had a wonderful time together as a family, and that is truly all that matters.
Lillian really enjoyed opening up her presents. In fact she took FOREVER. She had to play with every toy, etc. that she got. It would take us a few minutes of coaxing before she would move on to the next present. She got some really nice toys, games and clothes. We opened presents at home with Grandma and Papa Case, and then we went to Grandma Anne and Papa Mickelsen's house to open more presents. I know there are a lot of pictures, but I really did narrow it down. I think we probably took around a 100 pictures, so consider this a very select few.

We opened her stocking first. You can actually see it, 2nd picture directly above this. One of the ladies in my ward made it for her. I had it sitting around waiting for me to make it and she offered to make it and the one for our son. It turned out beautiful, we absolutely love it and our very grateful for her talent and willingness to make it. I know how much time it took to make it and will be eternally grateful to her. The next picture is Lillian with her only Great Grandma, since mine grandma has passed away. She will never remember her, so we are trying to take advantage of the one we do have left. She loves her and remembers her even when it has been a few weeks since we last saw her. Anyway, Lillian is helping Great Grandma open one of her presents. She loves helping!
The 2 pictures above are what Lillian got from Grandma & Papa Case as is with the next couple of pictures. She absolutely loves the Ratatouille book. It has 8 little magnets and a book in which you can place them on. She has so much fun playing with. Below she is sitting with Papa, whom she adores, and her new animal puzzle. I totally love the 2nd picture below, a classic Lillian expression, ahh, she is so stinkin cute!

2nd picture directly above this, is of Lillian playing with Great Grandma. In the next one she is going through her new books that she got from Santa, Mommy & Daddy. As you can kind of see, she still has quite a lot of presents to open!

(2 pictures above this and 1st picture below) This had to be one of her favorites, because after unwrapping it and then asking mom to open it, she played with it for 30 minutes before we could get her to open the last gift. Which happened to be another game (Princess Memory Game). Anyway, the game here is Candy Land. It has 4 big Ginger Men Boards that have 4 cut outs, one on each hand and foot, with shapes on them. It has a Candy Castle that dispenses the shapes when you pull the candy cane lever. The first person to get all the shapes wins. She just loves playing with it and is pretty good about taking turns. The picture below is of her playing the game :) The rest of the pictures are at my parents house. She got some great things, which were a hit, as emphasized by her facial expressions (like this one, 2nd picture below).

Lillian got some very beautiful dresses for church, which she really needed.
Below, we have just opened her shopping cart and even though you can't tell from the picture, she could hardly wait to open it and have it put together. She has had so much fun pushing it around the house. It doesn't even matter that we didn't get her any grocery items, she comes up with her own stuff to put in it. I think for her birthday we will probably get her some of that stuff, but for now she could care less about it. It is more fun to push it around and put her doll and stuff animals in it.

Above, Brandon, just opened our present, a Caldera, I am so excited to use it.
Not the best picture of the 3 of us, (2nd pic. above) but it will just have to work. Anyway, in the next two photo's, Lillian is playing with her Mr. Santa Potato Head, and the Cooties game (below) that she got. I really loved her expressions in the 2 pictures. They are just classic Lillian faces. Well that is it. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. My next post will probably be to announce the birth of our son. Wish me luck!
