Lillian carving her 1st Pumpkin

Lillian has really enjoyed Halloween this year, especially the pumpkins. So I decided that Lillian was probably old enough to help carve a pumpkin. She had a great time even though she didn't want to put her hands inside the pumpkin to take out the guts. She didn't want to get her hands all yucky. But she did want to help Grandma Anne pick out all the seeds so we could season and cook them. She loved helping mommy poke the kitty face that she picked out. She even helped mommy cut the whiskers out. I think she really enjoyed carving her pumpkin, plus mommy really had fun too. I haven't carved a pumpkin in a few years and I had almost forgotten how fun it is.
