Pretend City

During Easter break I  took the kids and met with a couple of my girlfriends at Pretend City. The kids always have a great time!! There is so much for them to do. Lillian has always enjoyed the kid sized kitchen house and the grocery store. This time she also played at the "beach" and in the theater. I didn't get any good pictures of her on stage all dressed up but she did enjoy this car!!  There are quite a few cars there for the kids to ride around in. Preston loved it too once he was finally able to get in one. Thankfully his sister shared with him. Otherwise, I don't think he would have ever gotten into one. He is shy and not really aggressive with other kids so by the time he would get to a car someone would jump in front of him and take it. Poor guy!! Since this was pretty much his first real experience at Pretend City he stayed close to me. For a good part of the time he sat in the Bumbo with this apple from the farm area!! We thought it was so hilarious because he was so content to sit there and watch all the other kids play. Thankfully once he got into the car, you couldn't get him out, (which later on proved quite difficult when it was time to leave. Lets just say he was not a happy camper.) LOL!! We spent about 2 1/2 hours there before it was closing time and we had to leave. The kids were quite worn out but still didn't want to leave!!
