This year my mom, Lillian and I went to see the Rose Parade floats. It has been a yearly tradition for almost every year. We love it and I love that I am able to pass on this tradition to Lillian. She loves looking at all the floats. Her favorites are the ones with animals. Even though she is totally capable of walking, we park quite a distance away and the rose parade floats are quite long, so Lillian rode in the stroller. She did like walking part of the time but when she got tired it was nice to have the stroller there for her to ride in. Of course there are a ton of pictures because there are lots of floats and so much on them that you just can't capture with one picture. We all really had a great time, even though I lost my mom and Lillian for about 15 minutes. Which at the time was nerve racking and frustrating, but thankfully we found each other. :) Hope you enjoy all the pictures. Going to view the floats every year is one of my favorite things to do to bring in the New Year!! The pictures where we are posing are the ones that were our favorites. We had a couple this year that were our favorites, but by the time we got to the other ones it was later in the day and there were too many people around.

The jungle themed one shown above and below was one of Lillian's and my favorite. It was so amazing to see up close. Lillian loves monkey's, of course. We must have spent 10 minutes or more looking at it.
